Synopsis

The adventures of Lum, Ataru, Ten, and all the gang from Tomobiki continue in an assortment of new – but no less weird – stories. Watch as Lum, Ataru, and Shinobu encounter a rabbit-clad youth, enter the Room of Destiny, and get a glimpse into their futures in "Inaba the Dreammaker," or see Ran's plans to use a sherbet cone-producing bird to open a sherbet shop one hot Tokyo summer go terribly awry in “Raging Sherbet.” Ataru has yet another bad experience with Lum's cooking in "I Howl at the Moon".

It’s summertime and Shinobu happens upon a boy wearing a rabbit costume who drops a key that leads to the room of destiny, a dimension filled with infinite doorways to various possible futures upkept by a group of sentient rabbits. Together with the bunny boy named Inaba, Shinobu, Lum and Ataru seek happy futures for themselves.

Mr. Fujinami opens an abandoned tea shop on a remote island which is still inhabited by the ghosts of its former owners who are none other than his best friend and his daughter named Nagisa. Much to Ryūnosuke’s dismay, Nagisa is completely amorous of Ryūnosuke as the two fathers had them engaged and wishes to kiss her.

Much to Mendō’s surprise, his father got him a personal bodyguard who turns out to be the jungle boy Shingo. Now a ninja, Shingo does nothing but irritate his master as he is still brainless as ever and meets Ryōko who decides to use him for her own fun, leading to some delirious disarray.

Lum makes some sakuramochi for Ataru to enjoy flower-viewing together. However, she mistakenly made something that is not suitable for human consumption and turns Ataru as well as Onsen-Mark into wolfmen, thus she must quickly prepare an antidote and force an elusive Ataru to take it or he’ll remain a wolf forever.

Lum, Ataru, Shinobu and Shūtarō Mendō visit the statue of a goat that an ancestor of Mendo owned. While being there, Mendō's father takes some pictures of them, which triggers a curse: the ghost of that goat will come and eat those photos, and the people in the photos will die. So everyone tries to find a way to lift the curse and save their lives. Are the gang gonna be able to revert the curse of the goat?

Ran purchases a pouch of heart candies that cause a heart to appear over whoever eats one who becomes entirely devoted to the person who grabs that heart and tries to use them with Rei only to fail. The candies then fall in the hands of Lum who eats one and it quickly becomes obvious to her lovestruck male classmates at school that the one who grabs the heart over her head will win her unquestioning devotion while Ataru tries to use those candies to get the other girls’ devotions.

Tsubame wakes up to find a young teenaged girl in his bed strongly attached to him on the day he had to go on a date with Sakura who was reported by Ten having seen them together in his home, and although she is revealed to be a ghost, her infatuation with him makes Sakura jealous and could jeopardize their relationship.
