Synopsis
As a baby Jiro was delivered to his foster parents by a massive oni, who said he would return for Jiro in 15 years. When the time comes Jiro must contend with enemy oni, dark cultists, and their minions while attempting to protect both his parents and girlfriend from their depredations. Ultimately he must embark on a journey through the past, future, and other dimensions to embrace his destiny as Shuten Doji reborn.

A huge oni arrives on Earth carrying a precious cargo: a baby boy, which he leaves with a young human couple with the instructions that they are to raise him as their own until the oni returns in 15 years.

We also get to see how Jiro's mother has been painting Oni paintings on the walls of her room and they are of the insane variety. The dad decides the paintings are bad and smashes the walls of the hospital down with a sledgehammer. As he smashes them, the world the Jiro team are in, starts to collapse and everything blows up.
