Mysterious Play: Eikoden

Miaka, now 18, and Taka have become happily married, and are now expecting their first child. At last, it seems they can live a peaceful life. However, fate will once again test Miaka and Taka, as Mayo Sakaki, a high school girl infatuated with Taka, decides to force her own "happy ending" when none other than the Book of the Universe of the Four Gods falls into her hands. Entering the world as the new Priestess of Suzaku, Mayo rejects the real world - but after Miaka falls into a coma, Taka must now once again enter the world of the Book to get Mayo back.

Forced to seek out the Suzaku Seven, Taka tracks down and is reunited with Chichiri and Tasuki. Their reunion is cut short with a battle with a powerful, yet familiar entity, however, and the mystery deepens as Mayo is drawn further into her feelings of hatred and jealousy for Miaka. Armed with the device that originally found the Suzaku Seven, Taka, Chichiri, and Tasuki set out to find the rest of the reborn warriors. But what they do find when seeking out the first two of the warriors is not what they expected at all.

One by one, the rest of the Suzaku Seven are found, but as they are, they may not be enough to face the new threat which threatens to destroy not only the Konan empire but the entire world of the book! It is becoming clearer and clearer that there is a mysterious power pulling the strings behind Konan`s push to the brink of destruction, and Mayo appears to be the key to unlocking its full, evil power. Keisuke, Yui, and Mayo`s friend Saori desperately attempt to pull Mayo back before her pain and anger destroy them all.

The Suzaku Seven are now reunited, and now, the ceremony to summon Suzaku can now begin. However, now all is in danger, as the power which is controlling the deterioration of the world of the book has now reached its peak. With imminent destruction at hand, Taka, Chichiri, Tasuki, and the rest of the Suzaku Seven must now fight to protect the world they love, but it may take the appearance of someone unexpected to beat back the darkness that threatens to overcome them.
