Synopsis
At the end of the 21st century, the discovery of a new energy source called "DG energy" (short for "divine grace energy") has revolutionized Earth's economy and allowed humanity to colonize space. However, when the initial expedition reaches Pluto, they are attacked by a mysterious, giant life-form known as "Nergal." The Earth Alliance Army fights back by creating an "AG Unit" using ancient robot weapons known as the "G's Frame" which were excavated from archaeological sites all around the world. Girls with special qualities known as "Ancient Girls" can pilot these robots against the Nergal. However, the first AG Unit suffers heavy casualties in the Jupiter Trojan campaign, and the pilot of Unit 04, Minamiya Reiu, goes missing-in-action... Years later, Minamiya Reika, the younger sister of Reiu, enlists with the AG Unit to search for her sister and to protect the Earth from the Nergal. A story of friendship, ancient robot weapons, and battles to the death with the Nergal ensues.

G's Frame
The Earth Alliance fleet will do its utmost to challenge the space life form Nergal, which destroys everything related to the wisdom and Divine Grace system of humankind. As humanity continues to lose, the last hope was a girl with a variant who could manipulate the ancient robot weapon "G's Frame" excavated from archaeological sites around the world. The main character, Reika Minamimiya, goes to the pilot selection test of the AG unit without telling her parents, along with her friend Misaki, in order to find her sister, Rei Ame, who belongs to the 1st AG unit that went missing in the battle with Nergal. Army of Ancient Girls
Reika was miraculously selected as a pilot by Shennon's awakening, and finally the training for conformity with the G's frame started. Reika and his friends return to the base after the battle with Nergal. Around the same time, the Earth Alliance was catching the radio waves of Asena, the favorite machine of Reika's older sister (Rei Ame), who was missing. The 2nd AG unit will head to space to find its source. However, when he suddenly learned that a myriad of Nergal groups had appeared over the AG base, General Ray Burke ordered the emergency launch of the aircraft carrier Atlahasis.
